Our company was originally founded in 1988 as a small engineering consulting firm helping local Southern California manufacturing companies reduce costs and streamline operations. As desktop computers became more commonplace, our clients turned to us to provide software based solutions that before then; were neither feasible nor cost effective. One of our first desktop PC projects was a DOS based Lotus 1-2-3 macro driven spreadsheet that we developed for an OEM supplier of Automotive A/C components in 1990. The program analyzed historical data and used that information to predict future cutting tool life expectancy… reducing machine downtime from hours to minutes by notifying the machine operator to change the cutting tool just prior to failure.
As desktop hardware and software evolved, so have the opportunities for improvement. Businesses and their employees are usually very busy doing what they do best, which typically doesn't leave much time (if any) to dedicate towards researching different ways of achieving the same (or better) results with less effort and cost. That's where we come in. By stepping back and looking globally, we very often discover that some of the most significant cost reduction opportunities are buried deep inside the countless daily activities that it takes to run an organization. While many of these opportunities might seem small or insignificant to the big picture, they add up very quickly and have a compound effect on labor savings… freeing up time and allowing your employees to do more important things. We encourage you to explore our website and try some of our free products.
